What Makes This Shop Unique: The only thing better than a coffee shop with fantastic coffee is one that serves amazing beer, too. Bold Monk Brewing has great coffee and food at brunch, lunch, and dinner with items like their brisket poutine and Bold Monk buttermilk fried chicken biscuit. It is just an all around great study and work spot!

What Makes This Shop Unique: You’ll find your new favorite coffee and bagel spot on the “B-Side” of the Deer and the Dove in Decatur. Their wood fired bagels are what set them apart, and they use the always excellent Counter Culture Coffee as well as some flavored syrups made in house should you want some extra sweetness. The lines get busy, so try to go at off-peak hours or early!

You can also enjoy a huge variety of teas and kombucha at Cold Brew Bar and one of the best smoothie bowls in the city. There’s also plentiful outdoor seating to enjoy the fresh air with your cup of Joe.
