You’ll love their airy and bright atmosphere at this Chef Ford Fry Buckhead restaurant, and honestly, this place is worth a visit for their complimentary focaccia alone. But their crudo, or “raw” menu is also always phenomenal. Tuck into some fresh oysters as a starter. Then, settle in for more deliciousness with their handmade pasta or excellent entrees with delicious delights such as wood grilled swordfish, hearth roasted branzino, and chanterelle mushroom veal.

Watchman’s is a trendy oyster bar in Krog Street Market serving individual oysters so you can get as many as you like, plus filling sandwiches and tons of fabulous cocktails. Happy hour at Watchman’s is the perfect way to wind down after a hectic day at the office. Get as many oysters and cocktails as your heart desires at a discounted price.

Kimball House is one of Decatur’s finest restaurants. Their menu rotates seasonally, but you can always count on them for an extensive raw bar featuring the best seasonal fresh catch of the day. Or if you prefer your oysters cooked, they’ve got a fantastic buttery grilled oyster option with garlic breadcrumbs. For a splurge, pair your oysters with their caviar offerings. The interiors are sophisticated and timeless, with warm wood touches throughout and warm ambient lighting, perfect for date night.

With fresh seafood, a well-stocked raw bar, and classic prime steaks, C&S Seafood & Oyster Bar aims to please. There’s a breathtaking array of classic Manhattan steakhouse and Parisian brasserie offerings. And from 4 to 6pm, Monday through Friday, there’s an amazing $18 oyster happy hour for a dozen oysters on the half shell or chargrilled if that’s more to your taste! C&S has been a go-to for Vinings area folks for years, and they’ve now expanded to Sandy Springs as well.

We’d be remiss to talk about seafood in the city without mentioning Beetlecat, a happening Inman Park spot with all the coastal vibes and what is perhaps the best lobster roll in the city. Their menu changes with the seasons, but you can always expect an extensive menu of fresh oysters from all over the country. Stop by there from 4 to 5pm on a weekday for their $1 oyster happy hour. Be sure to try their fry bread!
Hook, Line & Schooner is a Smyrna family-favorite for casual yet delicious seafood. They have an expansive menu with a selection of raw oysters, as well as chargrilled options. Portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Their patio is also pup friendly, and they regularly fundraise to help local animal shelters which is something to wag your tail about.

7. The Optimist
This Chef Ford Fry spot in West Midtown has one of the best oyster happy hours in the city. Here, the staff can walk you through the flavors of each oyster on the half shell, or you can go for roasted or fried if that’s more your speed. Pair your oysters with their crowd pleasing beignet style hushpuppies, lobster roll, or seafood gumbo.

Hugo’s Oyster Bar in Roswell is a great date night spot! They have combo options so you can try several different kinds of oysters like the classic Hugo’s Oysters that are covered with bacon, jalapeño, and white cheddar, or RC’s Chargrilled Oysters. They have tons of other seafood options as well such as crab cakes–which are great for the table–grouper, and baja fish tacos. For unpretentious seafood with a killer view, check out Six Feet Under in Grant Park and West Midtown. They’re especially great for reasonably priced fried seafood baskets, with hushpuppies and fries and all the good stuff. Enjoy their oysters rockefeller, parmesan oysters, or deep fried oyster baskets to get your oyster fix. And soak in the breathtaking Atlanta skyline views and rooftop at both of these locations–they totally steal the show.
