What’s a typical day in the life like of a Falcon’s star cornerback?

It’s always important to stay in a routine. I always look to get to the facility early and get in a full breakfast and morning workout. After that, we do some film study and then hit the practice field to get ready for that week’s game.

How do you keep your drive and determination with your grueling training and practice schedule?

It’s for my family. They are the motivation behind my training regimen and why I work so hard each and every day. Plus, I always strive to be the best at what I do

If you had to pick your favorite standout play thus far in your career, what moment do you think of?

I think the interception off of Tom Brady in the Super Bowl is number one. It was a big moment on a big stage and helped swing the momentum for the Falcons at the time.

Do you have any words of wisdom, not just for young athletes, but to people who are grinding to meet their respective goals?

Just keep going and be patient. Good things always come to those that wait. If you work hard for what you believe in good things will happen.

We know you’re a big family man, tell us a little bit of what it’s like to juggle dad-life and your career.

I have a young son and me and my wife have been married for a long time. My family is very supportive of me and my crazy schedule. Without them and their support I would not be able to do this. I am forever grateful for what they have done to help me get to this point.

You’re driving the all-new, fully redesigned Lexus ES 350 F Sport. What are some of your favorite features that the car has?

The ES 350 is one of the smoothest driving cars I have ever been in. Lexus did a great job of putting high-tech features in the vehicle to make it feel like so much more than “just driving a car.”

How does it compare to other cars you’ve driven/owned?

I love how compact the car is. It has the feel of a sports car and driving with it is an experience unlike any other. For those people out there, that haven’t driven the car, I would recommend taking a test drive and you will fall in love with it just like I did.

How did you get started with BLSA? What’s your relationship like with the people at Butler Lexus of South Atlanta?

BLSA has been extremely gracious from the start. They are incredible, not just in helping me find the right vehicle, but in supporting some of my off the field ventures as well. Everyone at the dealership was so nice and accommodating, I think I forgot I was shopping for a car at one point.

Coming off of an ankle injury, we were happy to see you start against the Browns this past week! Are you back to 100%?

You’ll never be 100% healthy in season but I’m working on it. Rise Up!
