What is Serenbe, you may wonder?  And why does it make for a romantic Atlanta getaway?

Serenbe was founded in 2004 and has grown to over 650 residents. One thing that sets this community apart is its commitment to sustainability. From the start, they saved energy using geothermal, solar, and net-zero energy. Serenbe treats wastewater in a natural way so that it can be reused as irrigation for the landscape, which is native to the area and includes edible plants. 

If you want to be active there are lots of activities to keep you busy. If spa treatments are your thing, you can indulge at Serenbe! But if you want to be a bit more active there’s also yoga and horseback riding available too!

What are the rooms like at the Serenbe Inn? 

There are only 27 rooms at this cozy oasis. Even if fully booked, it won’t feel like you are in a big franchise hotel. There won’t be long waits for an elevator because there are none. They even have old fashioned keys to unlock doors. With vaulted ceiling and light colors the rooms are welcoming and cozy.  

What’s special about the Farmhouse at Serenbe?

French chef, Nicolas Bour is at the helm and his cuisine is magical. If it’s on the menu get the tomato tart, a recipe handed down from his grandmother. Duck and lamb are the can’t miss entrees.
