Everything we know about the 3-row Lexus TX (Coming Soon to Atlanta)!!

June 19th, 2023 by

Even when fully occupied, the 2024 Lexus TX offers a tranquil cabin environment that is quiet and comfortable, assured handling, and roomy trunk space.

The TX offers an exciting driving experience and a comfortable journey for up to seven passengers thanks to safety and technological features and a strong performance from a broad mix of powertrains. Will this be a driving factor in the Lexus Atlanta buyers?

How the Lexus TX is different from its Lexus siblings (Lexus RX and LX)

The Lexus TX is designed to have more interior space than the Lexus LX and is more similar to the Toyota Grand Highlander than to the Lexus RX or LX. The ‘Unified Spindle’ grille, which has only slender horizontal holes, gives the Lexus TX’s front end a sleek appearance. The apertures in this grille aren’t very large, according to Lexus, because aerodynamic handling and vehicle stability are given priority. Another difference is instead of being on the grill, the Lexus emblem is placed in front of the hood shut line.

Premium wheels on the Lexus TX

With 20-inch wheels for the Premium grade, the vehicle’s wide, grounded stance enhances its driving performance. 22-inch wheels are standard for the TX Ultra Luxury (350) and Executive (350 and 550h+) grades for individuals who prefer a more commanding appearance. Additionally, the 500h F SPORT Performance grades ride on standard 22-inch wheels with a unique design.

Lexus TX color palette

Depending on the trim level, the 2024 TX will be available in seven different exterior colors: Cloudburst Gray, Wind Chill Pearl, Caviar, Matador Red Mica, Nightfall Mica, Incognito, and Celestial Silver Metallic. For the interior, the 2024 TX will have three color options: Peppercorn, Birch, and Black.

What’s new on the interior of the ferocious new TX Lexus SUV

The Lexus TX’s  driver-focused cockpit design allows for a closer connection inside, giving the driver a sense of  command, while passengers are treated to captain’s chairs in the seconds row, and available multi-colored illumination highlights and door trim options when opening the door with just a touch of the Digital Latch providing a true luxury experience.

To reduce driving distraction, driver controls like the optional head-up display (HUD) offer a clear line of sight. The Lexus Interface on the TX comes standard with a 14-inch Multimedia Touchscreen Display that gives the driver and front-seat passengers intuitive controls and comes with the 21-speaker Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound System, which has been calibrated specifically for the TX cabin to produce high-quality sound.

To guarantee that all guests travel in comfort, extensive utility is offered in every row. There is storage available in every row to accommodate all passengers. Seven charging/communication ports and three power outlets allow guests to use their smartphone or tablet at any time while traveling. The cupholders, which may hold cups and bottles of different sizes, are detachable to allow various usage patterns.

But how much storage space is available in the Lexus TX?

20.1 cubic feet of cargo capacity are available with all the seats up. The cargo area grows to 57.4 cu. ft. when the third-row seats are folded down. Maximum luggage space is 97 cu. ft. when the second-row seats are also folded down.

The GA-K platform, which offers a low center of gravity and ideal weight distribution, was adopted by the TX.  The three-row SUV’s performance and comfort were improved by strengthening the body stiffness of the TX and reducing noise, vibration, and harshness.
