The 2025 Lexus UX – A completely redesigned luxury crossover

Are you as excited as we are for the debut of the 2025 Lexus UX  in Atlanta?  The all-new Lexus UX is ready to take the crossover SUV market by storm with its new features.  

What’s new in the 2025 UX 

Quick facts for the updates on the new UX in 2925 and why it is great for commuters from Decatur to Fayetteville. 

• Horsepower increases from 181 to 196 
• Copper Crest added as an exterior color 
• Shift-by wire technology (change driving modes faster and seamlessly) 
• UXh (hybrid) – combined rating of 43 miles per gallon. 
• Powered by the fifth-generation Lexus Hybrid System, (combines an inline four-cylinder 2.0-liter gas engine with two motor-generators).  
• E-Four, a revolutionary all-wheel drive system developed by Lexus. (more on that below) 

The 2025 redesign includes shift-by-wire technology, this technology is a system in which driving modes (Drive, Reverse, Park, etc) are engaged electronically, with no need for a connection between the shifter and transmission. It is both quicker and more seamless for the driver.  

The acceleration time from 0 to 60 miles per hour is anticipated to be 7.9 seconds for all-wheel drive vehicles and 8.0 seconds for front-wheel drive vehicles in the 2025 UX hybrid. 

The Lexus UX 300h also has the capability of being fitted with E-Four, a revolutionary all-wheel drive system developed by Lexus. This system positions a permanent synchronous motor at the rear axle, allowing for the delivery of driving force practically instantaneously in situations involving low-grip or acceleration, perfect for Atlanta roads. 

Exterior Features of the UX in 2025 

The distinctive Lexus spindle grille is featured on the 2025 Lexus UX. Flared front and rear fenders are noticeable changes for the 2025 model year. Additionally, the front fascia is distinguished by its impressive appearance. 

Wheel arch moldings direct airflow over the edges of the tires, which helps to reduce turbulence and lift, which in turn contributes to the vehicle’s stability. 

There are 120 LEDs on the UX which creates a distinctive nighttime aesthetic. In addition to a flat underbody, the spoiler contributes to the quietness of the car (even on Atlanta interstates), as well as its fuel efficiency.  

Run-flat tires are included as standard equipment on every UX model. Base and Premium models come equipped with five-spoke alloy wheels in dark gray and have a machined finish. Additionally, there are two additional wheel variations that may be selected from, one of which is a matte black finish, and the other is a gloss black and machined finish. 

2025 F Sport Lexus UX 

Building on F SPORT Design, the F SPORT Handling model has an Active Variable Suspension (AVS) for sharpened handling, stability and to improve overall ride comfort. Inside the F SPORT Handling, the UXh receives an aluminum footrest and scuff plate in addition to F SPORT-exclusive sports seats, a power steering column, heated steering wheel, shift knob, meters, and aluminum sports pedals. New this year, F SPORT Handling also has a standard power rear door with kick sensor. 

Interior features of the Lexus UX in 2025 

For 2025, here are the new features  

• A larger 12.3-inch multi-information display adorning the instrument cluster is standard on all Premium and F SPORT models 
• 7-inch multi-information display is standard on the Base model.  
• Multi-information displays can have their layouts customized by users. 
• New layout of buttons on the door panels and chrome-finished ornamentation. 
• An available color head-up display  

What is seating like on the 2025 Lexus UX?   

The UX offers 8-way power adjustable front seats, with adjustable lumbar support for the driver. The UX 300h Premium model has standard heated and ventilated front seats, power tilt-and-slide moonroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and power rear door with kick sensor. NuLuxe®-trimmed seating is offered in a choice of colors, including Black, Palomino, Birch and Lapis.  

Tech features on the new Lexus UX include:

  A standard high-definition touchscreen measuring 8 inches (Base Premium and F SPORT Design) and 12.3 inches (F SPORT Handling) 
• Five USB Ports 
• Cloud Navigation   
  With an active Drive Connect trial or subscription, this 100% cloud-capable system integrates with Google points of interest (POI) data to provide faster and more up-to-date directions 
• Intelligent Assistant
  Simply say “Hey Lexus,” and use voice commands to operate certain interior amenities, such as navigation, multimedia, and climate control. 

• Digital Key
  With an active Remote Connect subscription, a smartphone can be used as a vehicle key through the Lexus app.  
• Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto Compatibility 
• Remote Connect
  Remotely lock or unlock the doors, start the vehicle and adjust the climate control. 
• Service Connect
  Available via the Lexus app, connects to a dealer to keep up to date with diagnostics and service reminders
