209 Edgewood Ave SE
Atlanta, GA 30303
From fresh produce and meats and seafood to talented eateries, the historic Sweet Auburn Curb Market has a little bit of everything. But what’s most interesting about this place is probably their history. The market first opened its doors in 1924. At the time, African-American patrons were allowed to shop inside, but could only vend outdoors along the curb, which led to its nickname of Sweet Auburn Curb Market. Atlanta staples Grind House Killer Burgers and Bell Street Burritos first got their start in the market, and it remains a place for interesting local food and cuisines from all over the world.

Plaza FIesta has been a food hall long before food halls were a “thing.” Indulge in delicious Mexican and Latin American eats that line their food courts. The interiors are stunning at this brand new development to hit Midtown, with ambient lighting, leather couches, and velvet chairs to really set this place apart from your standard food hall. Bun Mi Grill’s vermicelli bowls are excellent, Locale Cafe’s oxtails are as good as any spot, and the brand new JoJo’s Beloved cocktail lounge will delight all your senses.

It felt like it took years and years and years for this place to undergo the renovation, but it finally finished and has now become the top tourist destination in Atlanta. But there’s plenty for locals to be excited about too, from the always tasty fried chicken from Hop’s Chicken, the A+ burgers at H&F burgers, the dreamy scoops of dairy goodness at Honeysuckle Gelato, to the brand new lounge concept Bar Vegan from famed Atlanta restaurateur Pinky Cole.

Brazilian street food spot Buteco Coffee & Bar and Woody’s Cheesesteaks are already slated to be two upcoming tenants. Keep an eye out for their opening this summer!
